The Ballet School in Holstebro is now adding a qualification more to the long list of qualifications at the school: Intercultural qualifications/competences, which contents could be openness, cultural curiosity and the ability to work together with someone who is different from yourself. These skills (and many other) you have to learn at the school in Holstebro,but we have to start with the teachers and the staff! They are all ready for the challenge now, and therefore we have to start with their supplementary training, we have to start with the management and the dance teachers. We have expressed our thoughts in our European Development Plan, which contains a short term and a long term plan: The short term plan calls for education of the staff in many levels: Intercultural qualifications through coorporation with other education staff from other countries in Europe, training in educational skills, development of the curriculum, so the classes will be taught in intercultural competences. On the long term we would like to take part in mobility projects and other projects through etwinning.
