The project is based on four previous national and international projects’ results, which are mainly training needs analysis and training material in various forms. Target groups are theatre technical professionals and training organisations in the professional area. The project aims at developing an industry-based competence analysis tool for locating professional profiles in EU –level. The aim is also to harmonise the variety of concepts and competence profiles making the job profiles and training contents transparent. Work will be carried out in close co-operation with national associations and unions, which are the main dissemination channels as well. The work consists of: (1) Developing of competence analysis tool from European perspective (2) Preparation of a handbook on organising theatre technical competence validation system for recognition skills gained in job (3) Preparation of a handbook for staff development needs evaluation in the field of theatre technical competence. The products will be available in English, Flemish, Finnish, Estonian and Swedish languages. Distribution of information and results will be made on project’s website and e-mails to training institutions and professional organisations. The project will be presented in seminars and information booklets will be prepared and distributed to make the work visible.
