PROJECT
FINISHED
The project "Trempoline mobility Belgium" presented by the Trempoline ngo in the frame of Erasmus + grants, follows different projects ECEtt funded by the Leonardo da Vinci, namely ECEtt Pilot- 2006, ECEtt-ToI-2009, contributing to the establishment and operation of a network of exchange of good practices in the business of humans according to a method based on the companionship (called method MECETT). Different mobility projects and the Convergence project (2009), funded by the ESF has also helped to make Trempoline a permanent player of this network.
The two main objectives of this new project, in line with the strategic vision 2015-2020 of the institution are:
a) to allow 17 field workers and managers of Trempoline to increase their skills in the treatment of drug-dependent persons; indeed, the public that caters to these services evolves and changes, that's why it is essential for professionals to adapt and develop in order to respond effectively to the demands of the public become poly drug addict;
(b) to enable these workers from retain and strengthen their motivation level in the exercise of their daily work.
The goal being to increase the quality of the services of the institution and therefore to respond competently to the constantly different needs of beneficiaries.
The project is intended for all Trempoline's workers who belong to different services, such as the pedagogical (teachers, therapists, psychologists, criminologists, etc) and administration (directors, trainers in prevention, animators of groups parents, etc).
This project provides training opportunities to workers through the combination of an exchange of virtual and concrete experiences. Workers leave on observation traineeships and practical work, especially, but in seminars also and other trainings. Framed by the MECETT method, these workers will encounter peers who have the same difficulties, who do the same work and who have found other answers. In observing, comparing and discussing with their peers, they will be able to report and describe best practices in the various countries of the European network. Upon their return, these workers will work with their team and responsible to implement the elements of interest, create a new project or simply to improve their existing practices. This approach will be assessed by the competent Department of research and development of Trempoline in order to measure the impact on the beneficiaries. The results (evaluation, strong ideas, description of the host and good practices) will be shared through a platform online, searchable by all members of the network (www.ecett.eu).
Through time, Trempoline has created a large network of institutions in the area of addictions. This network allowed to expand more and more opportunities for encounters and and exchange of experiences and good practices; in return, these travelers describe, analyze, and implement new projects or tools that will enable them to do their work better on a daily basis.
The impact of these trips will be measured through the number and the quality of the implemented practices, re-motivation of teams, the transmission of new ideas, and change in the spirit and mentality of workers after the internship. These trips are part of the internal training plan in the strategic vision of Trempoline for 2015-2020 in order to extend the offer of care and increase the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
