TREMPLIN – The Skills Mismatch in the Labour Market: Analysis and Solutions as Provided by Training
Tackling the Skills Gap in Europe's Labour Market : Europe's fluctuating labour market demands an adaptable, highly skilled workforce. However, job seekers often fail to meet the skills criteria demanded by employers. This project seeks first to understand this skills mismatch in key sectors and in different European countries, and then to recommend ways in which properly targeted training can help solve the problem. This project started in 2000 and lasted 36 months.
