The project objective was conservation of cultural identity and biodiversity of a landscape with scattered standardsize fruit trees. Information campaigns and training courses helped raise awareness among the population on the importance of preserving standard-size fruit trees. Various activities aimed at the preservation of biodiversity of (standard-size) fruit tree types and varieties were carried out: establishment and management of a tree nursery for production of seedlings for standard-size fruit trees and planting of a fruit tree avenue.
