Transferencia de metodología y guía de acompañamiento en los sistemas de evaluación y reconocimiento de la competencia profesional
All European systems for the assessment, recognition and validation of competence include a stage referred to as the accompaniment stage for the candidate. This critical and highly complex stage of the process is designed to provide candidates with ideas as to how best to specify their competencies and gather the required evidence of their previous learning and competencies acquired both formally and/or informally. The VALGUINET Project, embodying a series of innovative initiatives deployed in recent years in the field of competence validation, is geared towards transferring and integrating these initiatives in partner countries. Three elements of innovation transfer represented by the project are the professional interview methodology established as part of the EVA Project (LdV PP 115825), the CERCO IT application for process administration and documents management and the INCRESS IT tool for managing self-assessment of competencies. The VALGUINET consortium brings together as partners a series of official competence certification bodies from different countries, providing a wide-range of experience in this field and ensuring the effective application of project results. The greater experience of the French, Finnish and Spanish partners in comparison to that of the Portuguese and Rumanian partners is seen as a balancing factor, whilst the geographical diversification of the project partners is considered of great interest. The end product of the project will be a manual or guidebook on the procedure for the accompaniment stage of systems for the assessment, recognition and validation of competence completed with informatic tools for competencies an administrative management. The project is designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of the accompaniment stage by making it considerably less complex and subjective. In this way, the assessor will be provided with more effective tools to do his/her job, and candidates will be given the best possible chance to specifically state their tacit competencies. Thus, improved validation is the objective.
