Aim of Pelči special boarding primary school-development centre's project is to increase the professional and personal capacity of teaching staff. Educational strategy of Kuldiga District Municipality has defined that regional access to education is of good quality and competitive, so it is planned to provide effective professional development and motivation programs for teaching staff. The participants of the project will be five persons: administration - headmistress and vice headmistress, responsible for ICT questions, and three teachers - manager of development centre, teacher of visual arts and sports teacher, who is at the same time manager of pedagogical methodological commission of sports teachers of Kuldiga district. Teachers involved in the project will improve their knowledge of modern teaching methods, will develop professional skills , will be acquainted with use of various art therapies in learning process, healthy school environment and micro-climate development. School's Management's work shadowing will provide additional knowledge of educational institutions' strategic planning, human resources' capacity building, implementation of new training programs and enhancing international cooperation.Project participants' knowledge about modern pedagogical technologies in European context will contribute to the internationalization of education and improve the quality of education that is coherent with Kuldīga District Development Programme of 2014- 2020.
