The project “Training Youth+” is a Gantalcalá iniciative, developed in the frame of the Erasmus+ Programme, within the Key Action 1: Learning mobilities of individuals (Training and Networking of oyuth workers). The aim of the project is getting together 33 youth workers from 10 European Union coutries in order to facilitate them the knowledge needed to make real future projects within the Key Action 1: Learning mobilities of individuals (Mobility for young people and youth workers) and Key Action 2: Co-operation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices is all about enabling organisations to work together in order to improve their provision for learners and share innovative practices.
The activities of this Project, addressed to the promotion of cooperation and training in the field of youth work, will take place in Seville (Spain) from 7th to 14th September 2014. During these days, the youth workers will take part in several workshops focused on the development of creative and innovative projects; they will discuss about the European citizenship, the cultural diversity; and they will reflect on social inclusion and Anti-discrimination, being motivated to face the work with young people with fewer opportunities, particularly with disabled ones.
An accurate and analyzed use of Non Formal learning methods and techniques, in occasions supported by the New Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), will be the key for obtaining successful results from this Training Course. Moreover, at the end of it, participants will receive the Youthpass certificate, that describes and validate the Non Formal learning experiences achieved during this course.
The context in which this project is located is a European environment in which there are a lot of youth groups, local clubs, youth delegations to municipalities, and youth workers but they don´t know and they can not find clear even the different participation opportunities offered by the new Erasmus+ Programme in relation to youth.
This state of ignorance and some fear that some institutions are finding the time to face the new program has been what has led to our Project.
The work program will include activities of different nature, but always guided under the influence of the methodology of non-formal learning . Thus, the participants made among others a fair organizations , A General Introduction to Erasmus + program , work with and citizens in Seville for spread the new program, will receive specific training on the Key Actions 1 and 2 Erasmus + program, acquire new tools to work multiculturalism and European dimension with young people , observe the importance of ICTs in managing youth projects , consider different ways to provide project visibility and disseminate among the population, they will learn new ways to energize and work with youth groups, etc. .
The participants will gain knowledge and skills particularly in relation to:
• Mobility programs for young people and youth workers in the European Union. Knowledge of different Key Actions . First steps for the creation of a network of European cooperation in the youth field .
• Practices and innovative ICT-based learning. Creating on -line documents and Blogs for development and project management .
• Acquisition of tools and methodologies for the dissemination of projects.
• based on the non-formal , experiential learning methods and the "effective learning".
• Techniques of physical and mental activation of students.
• Group Dynamics , Games and Ice Breakers roll as youth work tools
• Tools for working recusrsos European dimension and multiculturalism.
Transfer project results to other people and organizations potentially interested in him is expected. The results of the course are public and anyone interested in obtaining various products obtained may apply through the blog of course .
Through the implementation of Blog and course group creation in the social network Facebook, is intended to move forward with the participants and other persons or institutions interested in creating a network of transnational cooperation, to enable future collaboration to scale of European organizations dedicated to youth work.
