Project FASTER aims at transferring durable, sustainable and implemented in a larger area training programme for supporting high-growth oriented Entrepreneurs to four New Member States, namely Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Cyprus. High-growth oriented entrepreneurs are those who expect to employ 20 people or more within the next five years. This number represents a size where a business have developed some level of internal specialization, identifiable management function, and some separation of ownership and employees. While training programmes for self-employed entrepreneurs are widely available, there are no programmes designed for fast-growing entrepreneurs who are focused on growth, development and specialization. The main difference between these two types of programmes is that the second one embed additional management training modules (such as general management, HR management, finance, soft skills etc.) and support students in the start-up phase. This training programme has been successfully launched in Italy three years ago and will be used as a base to tailor training modules adapted to unique cultural, economic and social conditions in each of transferee countries. The base of the programme is already existing vocational training IEP programme created by one of our Partners, Italian ISTUD Foundation. It combines different methodologies, aiming at making trainees protagonists of the learning process. Thus the class training foresees the employment of business cases, role playing, business games and teaching approaches allowing the implementation of operative problems and elaboration of schemes of reference useful to the action.Currently, in benefiting countries there are no training programmes similar to the one presented in the FASTER proposal.
