Tradition of Learning Through Play (HUSKROUA/1101/078)

The projects specific objectives include: Training a group of 16 kindergarten and elementary teachers from Romania and Ukraine to apply the Mind Lab modern, innovative educational methodology; Training 4 trainers by Mind Lab educational methodology trainers – 2 from Romania and 2 from Ukraine; Developing emotional and social abilities of 192 children – Hungarian, Romanian, Ukrainian and Romani based on the new methodology initiated during the project; Awareness of the influence of culture and different traditions specific for the cross-border area over the evolution of toys – educational games and concepts; Development of a capacity of 80 preschool children from Ukraine and Romania within 4 kindergartens with different teaching languages: Hungarian, Romanian, Ukrainian and Romani – to relate to other children and adults in different cultural environments and different nationalities; Ensure the conditions for communicating the Mind Lab innovative educational method to other preschool and primary school institutions in the target region of the project. Expected Results: Estimated results: 16 kindergarten and primary school teachers will be trained for kindergarten teaching based on the Mind Lab method; 4 kindergarten and primary school teachers will be trained as trainers for the Mind Lab method; 216 kindergarten and primary school children from Romania and Ukraine will participate in education courses based on the Mind Lab method; 500 parents involved in the activities of the project; 3 collections of traditional and modern toys will be organised; 7 exhibitions with the toy collections; a toy design competition at childrens level. A consolidated cross-border partnership between Satu Mare and Zakarpatska.
