The project aims to increase public knowledge of all the problems connected with waste management and public administration to prepare for a gradual ban on landfilling of municipal waste on both sides of the border. Conduct intensive campaigns to promote waste prevention, its material and finally the energy utilization. Expected Results: Establishing Temporary Storage in the village Uhrovec the help of cross-border partners and their transfer of know-how, creating new conditions for better separation and disposal of biodegradable waste, while there is also an increase in the amount of sorted waste and a reduction in the total amount of municipal waste landfilled currently on landfills . By cooperation between the project partners will establish a platform for exchange of experiences, as well as education of citizens on both sides of the border, resulting in the increased interest of the people to protect the environment and ensure the efficient and sensitive approach to waste management
