                         Organisations working in the fields of education, training and employment for deaf and hearing impaired people, experiece the same challenges of  suitable education and traing and higher unemployment  among the deaf and HI poulation, compared to the rest of the poulation. Our organisations have set up services and tools for the support and access to employment , education and training. We wish to exchange with other european countries on this theme for the following objectives :  - Get to know and analyze the different modalities of support of deaf/ HI persons, from the stage of preparation for education, choice of vocational training, to the stage of access to employment and maintenance, through the services provided within partner organizations.  - To identify the factors of complexity in the expression " special education for deaf /HI and mainstream" and to look at the possibilities to facilitate the transition for a better professional preparation for inclusion and work- life.  - To understand the main political orientations which concerning the support of hearing impaired people (laws, rights of deaf people etc - To exchange on best practices, the efficient strategies and adaptation to the services,  all in a more constraint economic system.  The participants are specialised educators, specialised teachers, and specialists of deafness  interpretors, spezialized teachers and counsellors. Planned activities are visits of organisations dedicated to the question of training and support to employment, especially programs of transition between education and active life (TEVA project), but also visits and exchanges with Universities, companies and other services working in this field. All these aspects will highlight best practices and give innovatives ways to favour the professional inclusion or maintenance in employment.  The impact of this project is important because it will allow improvement of quality of services for the  target group, to develop the knowledge of professionals in their daily practices, improve the organizations and their practices in the comparison with the best practices seen in the hosting organizations, develop  links between partners of the French consortium , the other partners and to ensure a better quality of services .   Finally, the expected long term impact is an increasing number of deaf or hearing impaired people with better access to employment  and inclusion, and secure a relevant education and traing for the people in question.
