Over the past years the number of natural disasters became cause to a large scale of emergency situations in the Polish-Ukrainian borderland. Geographical location of Lublin Voivodeship, bordering Ukraine and Belarus, shares the risk of spreading the results of chemical, ecological and natural outage and catastrophes with Volyn region.The aim of the project is the creation of a joint reaction system in crisis situations, natural disasters and technical catastrophes, outages and other circumstances threatening health and life of the inhabitants of the Lublin and Volyn regions and subsequently improving the safety of the border area. Expected Results: The results include trainings for police officers on crisis response conduct, establishment a safety and rescue cooperation network, purchase and use of specialized equipment and vehicles to conduct rescue operations.
