The main aim of the EVS project is to encourage young people to spend their free time in a meaningful way, motivate them to become active volunteers, citizens with necessary knowledge and skills through youth mobility and voluntary activities. To accomplish the goal of this project, INEX Slovakia will host 3 EVS volunteers from France, Finland and Russia. The volunteers will be hosted at INEX Slovakia office in Bratislava but also on different places in Slovakia for the time period 1.2.2016 – 31.12.2016. During 11 months the EVS volunteers will organize various events, workshops and free-time activities by means of non-formal education for young people as well as participate in creating training for young community leaders of voluntary projects. The volunteers will also have the possibility to organize their own project that will among other focus on intercultural aspects, promote volunteering as meaningful way of spending free time and work with young people with social and health disadvantages, motivate young people to take part in youth mobility, promote voluntary service in general and inform young people about the EVS and the Erasmus+; and others. The EVS project will be a valued experience for the volunteers as they will be able to organize their own project, events or free-time activities through the means of non-formal education. The project will positively influence Slovak young people to become active in their own community, foster mutual understanding of different countries and develop them personally and professionally.
