Today I am neither man or woman but a magic fish
Start date: Sep 1, 2012,
The project "Today I am neither man or woman but a magic fish" is a Training Course within Youth in the World that will take place in Tsaxkadzor, Armenia between the 1st - 8th of October, 2012. The theme of the training is gender equality amongst youth. The objectives of the training are to question prevailing gender norms that exist in our different backgrounds, to try new understandings, link the question to other categories of discrimination and to find ways of spreading the adequate methods to reach gender equality according to our local contexts. We aim to do this through non-formal educational methods and discussions about the situations in our countries. We expect the participants to bring back new ideas and ways to combat gender inequality to their organizations and to mainstream it in their daily work with youth. We have partners from the SEE-, EECA-, and Programme-countries. These are Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Finland, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Kosovo, Macedonia. All partners work with youth in different ways, and promote anti-discrimination work, inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and democracy. Each partner will bring three participants and we aim for a gender balanced group. The project is a cooperation between Loesje Armenia and Loesje Finland.
