As part of our long-term work in the border region , we have met many times with the need of young people to work not only with Poles , but also with Slovaks. For a long time we devote to work with stereotypes and encouraging young people into implementing their ideas in reality. We're also working with oral history and traditions, which transmit basic cultural patterns through which we can more easily understand ourselves , and thus to accept the others. The aim of our project is to develop long-term cooperation and relation between the youth of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia through common activities within the framework of the Youth Exchange and through personal development of participants. We want to achieve this objective through the activities of non-formal education , experiential education and self-development methods. In total 24 participants will get in 7 days speciphic SKA which will help them to realize who they are, what is their culture about and out of this SKA they will be more open to understand to the others. We would like to point out the similarities and differencies between our cultures. We would liketo achieve it by creating short publications about the traditions typical for the countries mentioned above with comments of participants. These traditions should be described so that participants could implement them in their local activities. We also plan follow-up activities focused on personal development and development of cooperation in Central Europe in terms of youth and youth workers .
