TNS Train Nutrition Vocational training for learners with special needs using the example of nutrition education with digital media

While the apprentices and job- starters, with or without special needs, live with digital media, they are rarely used in education, which forgoes a big chance for more efficient teaching. The increasing skills- shortage in all countries of the EU requires extra efforts to offer qualified training to all young persons. In order to improve training, TNS transfers established training- modules to partner countries. It was demonstrated across many vocational fields in various pilot- projects, how nutrition-education, using digital media, can be readily adapted to the requirements of different countries. In the context of the project, a guideline for good practice for the use of digital media in education, following the quality- management system EQUAVET, was developed.
