This Library is Not Quite II. Project will be held in Ankara between the dates of 01.01.2016 - 30.06.2017 by KalpAnkara Education and Youth Center. KalpAnkara will host 1 volunteer for 12 months in this period. ProAtlântico - Associação Juvenil is our partner organization in this project. Our partner association has been working since 2001 in Portugal Porto. This Library is Not Quite II. project is social responsibility and local solidarity project which is based on Toy Library. As a result of our project carried out with the number of TR-12-E494-2012-R2 as part of Action 1.2 transnational youth initiatives, our group has become and organization and gained corporate identity. This Library is Not Quite II. project, held in Ankara aims to bring game and toy culture to socially and economically disadvantaged children and arrange workshops and activities. This project has showed up after an long term planning process and based on voluntary activities. our project lasts 12 months and it consists of various dynamics. We will have Professional Mentor and Turkish Teacher for the EVS Volunteer. Volunteer will be part of our national cooperation and solidarity network which started in 2012 with Oyuncak Kütüphanesi - Ankara Project. The EVS Volunteer will be busy with arranging social and cultural activities for families and children; activities with local volunteers and programs of interns coming from universities to our center. Local Volunteers are mostly young students in our association. But there are also families and adults coming as a volunteer to support us. Toy Library Project was shown as Best Practice Project by Turkish National Agency and Ministry of EU Affairs.Besides that, people who have duties and responsibilities in our association will be informed out Erasmus+ Programmes.
