The main idea of the mobility project “Think Tank Europe” is , that Europe is a learning- and development factory . Life time learning and transnational working are the basic points and goals for Europe. ComFort wants to give staff and VET-learner the chance to learn in and from Europe. On one hand it aims on our own staff and organizational development . Solutions, concepts, models and methods for the different challenges are available all over Europe. The demand is to get to know knowledge, to get inspired and to use experience for our own work. On the other hand, each learner will profit from working experience abroad.Main targets of Think Tank Europe are:• Learning in and from Europe – the idea of a Think Tank• Further learning of our staff (human resources development)• Europeanization of our company`s VET-products and learning opportunities (own organizational development) • Working experience abroad for VET-learners ( personality development, increasing job related competences as well as language competence)Think Tank Europe is a pool-project for 80 VET-learners to collect international experience. Applications from all over Germany can be submitted. There are transparent criteria for the application and choice of learners defined. The focus is set on the wide range of professions in the service industry (hospitality, gastronomy, tourism, health, wellness, outpatient and home care, supervision, child care and education, trading, consulting, administration,….). Other professions will be examined by us and our partners upon concrete request. Our partners in Ireland, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands already share the intention and the objectives of Think Tank Europe. Yet, we are looking for further partners. Though specially targeting the Scandinavian countries and Turkey, we are basically open for partnerships in all European countries.Staff is a role-model. It bears multipliers as European experience and solutions, new teaching concepts and methods, which can be implemented in educational institutions, companies, classes and training. Crosstrainings effectively influence the engagement towards “International study” in companies and of learners. The globalization of the employment market is recognized as a constructive asset and enhancement of chances. The learners do develop a stronger European inspired identity, herewith dealing far more open minded and sophisticated with other mentalities, languages and characteristics of other cultures.They will support a peaceful and innovative Europe, because of the positive experience they made. The spirit will be carried to the company and to the circle of friends. Globalization to go along with competition for the most talented, puts economy and education up to new challenges. International experience, acting with different perceptions is the key for flexible working if circumstances change. In the context of Think Tank Europe cooperation between different educational, cultural and administrative facilities in Europe should be intensified and become normality.
