Do you know what MDGs are? Are you active and involved in the life of your community? Then I bet you heared about those great non-formal projects. LECUPO - League for Education Culture and Sport (that's us) is organizing a multilateral youth exchange called "Think globally, act locally" to be held 15-22 September 2010 in Romania. The project is based on the "media & communications / informing youth" topic and its main objective is to inform youth (18-25 years old) on Millennium Development Goals of United Nations (now you know what the MDGs stands for, and you've read just 7 lines - imagine if you were attending the whole project). The venue place will be in the Romanian Delta, a great place for great people, and the activities will include workshops about the MDGs and also planning and editing short-movies directed by participants (yes, they will be director too!). These short-movies will represent the message from the participants to outer space (to all those smart persons that are waiting for a life-changing message) and they will be promoted in ways you can imagine. Those 35 lucky people that will attend this 8-days experience are from Romania, Belgium, Turkey, Estonia, Slovenia, Poland and Lithuania and trust me when I say this is not the last time you hear about us.
