THEIR STATE, CONSERVATION AND SOCIAL IMPACTS
(THE SHARED ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE)
The aim of the project is to examine, in co-operation with Finnish and Russian organisations and experts, the state of the shared endangered species and valuable natural environments, develop their conservation methods and utilize them, e.g. by means of nature tourism. Special attention will be paid to economic impacts †both to the economic benefit that is obtained from conservation and to potential socio-economic problems and conflicts.
