Study visit was held form 5th till 11th of December 2015. Involved 30 participants form Serbia and Germany. The group of participants were youth workers, youth leaders and young people interested in topic. Study visit gather 30 participants with the main aim to raise awareness on non violence, gender equality and active civic participation among youth in Europe giving them possibility of interactive gaining skills and knowledge under topic. Project has also aim to develop and foster international cooperation in working on gender equality and non violence, to share good practice and methodologies in order to create picture of gender equality on European level and develop approaches on working with this issue. Overall goal of the project was rising awareness on non violence, gender equality and active civic participation among youth in Europe giving them possibility of interactive gaining skills and knowledge under topic. Specific goals: - to promote active citizenship and participation amongst young people in their own community - to raise awareness of gender equality and gender based violence and ensure space for exchanging methodologies and approaches in working with youth under this topic - Promote cooperation on European level and exchange methods and approaches in working under topic of gender equality. During the study visit there were training sessions with Roter Baum and Center E8 where both organization had opportunity to present their methodologies and good practices. Participants also visited Gender council in Dresden, ESCAPE Dresden where participants had opportunity to learn about situation under the gender issue in Germany and within the EU. Results of the project are: - 30 participants developed their skills and knowledge in working with young people - exchanged good practice among partners and different sectors - Developed cooperation on European level under topic gender equality and gender based violence
