The Professional Development Programme "The Real Estate Sector in London and the UK" provides a 3-week intensive course for 24 apprentices of the housing industry, who are currently being schooled at the vocational school Berufskolleg des Europäischen Bildungszentrums der Wohnungs- und Immobilienwirtschaft (EBZ Bochum). The PDP is offered by the European College of Business and Management (ECBM) in London, where students are led to the Kaufmann/-frau International Certificate awarded by the EHK London.For several years now, our apprentices take part in the Professional Development Programmes at the ECBM London. This course provides the young learners with specific knowledge in business administration, interculturality and language. The focus on the real estate industry has been thoroughly developed in cooperation between both institutes, and has grown into a very successful means to support young professionals in their employability as well as their companies' international development.To have a look into markets and market actors of the real estate sector in the UK and London in detail, supports the learners' professional approach and supports the further enhancement of the skills and abilities demanded by changing market environments.All participants are currently in their dual vocational training at the EBZ and their sending companies, and thus profit from this tailor-made course which enhances their independence and flexibility as future actors in real estate. Furthermore, the programme supports the further internationalisation of the vocational training branch of the EBZ-Group.
