The project aims to minimize the "lack of information" in cross-border relation in a quite innovative way. The backbone of this project is the multipurpose improvement of local public and communication. This project creates sufficient technical background for public media tools and develops a curricula for general media education in CBC relation. By organising Media Course for 30 students (10 Hungarians and 20 Romanians) the project will train the "NEXT media generation"! With the help of the purchased equipment, graduates have to create a Master Work, which form the basis of a book and its electronic annex, presenting the two cities and the common values of the border region. To assure the long lasting impact of the project, 700 youngsters visit the Training Studio equipped in Sacueni, to familiarize them with the world of the Media. In order to further widen the accessibility to local media tools and IT technologies, HOT SPOTs will be established in the Community Centres. By creating technical and personal basis for the local public media systems in both cities, vivid cross-border media cooperation will be established.The general objective of the project is developing Media and IT knowledge and joint development of the public media institutions for the sake of better cross-border communication.Direct beneficiaries: all the people working in the public media institutions in Hajdúböszörmény (20 persons) and in Sacueni (persons). They have direct access to developed technical background; people who are interested about the world of the media, 30 participants the Media Course: 20 person from Romania, and 10 person from Hungary; all the people who use the free HOT SPOT and the related technical background in Hajdúböszrömény (15.000 person/year) and in Sacueni (3500 person/year); number of people directly reached by joint communication initiatives: 80 persons at the opening conference and workshops, 30 students, 150 persons at the closing conference in Sacueni, 100 persons at the ribbon cutting ceremony in Hajdúböszörmény, 700 school-children visiting the training studio in the form of unconventional lessons.The main specific activities of the project are: public media & communication studies and trainings, IT development related to Public Media services and Education.
