The Mobility Bridge II is a project with the participation of five secondary schools, Economic and Trade School, High School Čakovec, High School Prelog, and Technical School Čakovec. The schools formed a consortium led by high school Prelog as a continuation of the project The Mobility Bridge. The project will involve 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students as well as and students who have completed their high school education in less than a year. Occupations involved in the project: cook, waiter, pastry chef, baker, tourism and hospitality salesman, technician for mechatronics, computer technician, economist, hotel and tourism technician, physiotherapist, nurse and midwife. The project includes 92 students, 14 accompanying teachers and 2 teachers physiotherapist in training.Students will perform professional practice organized by partners of the project: Počitek Užitek, Slovenia; Sans Frontiers Europe, Malta; Lycee Jean Capelle, France; Berufliche Oberschule Ingolstadt; Professional secondary school Barkava, Latvia and KWVD, Germany.Students will perform mobility in the companies for two weeks with 10 working days with a total of 80 hours of practice and four days will be filled with cultural amenities. Students will work on previously designed tasks that are defined by the outcomes and objectives of vocational education in order to acquire new skills and work habits. They will be able to do jobs that are not offered during vocational education in their schools. They will also work with new technologies and methods of work . Teachers physiotherapist will also be participating in professional training for a period of 7 days (job shadowing). They will participate in the performance of a physical therapy in the companies of the partner country, acquiring new knowledge and skills in the field of physiotherapy. In this way, teachers will transfer newly acquired knowledge to colleagues and students in their home institution.The project objectives are: increasing the quality and excellence of vocational education, increasing the reputation of vocational education, the internationalization of schools, the mobility of students and improvement of their professional competences, the increase of students 'competitiveness in the labor market, linking vocational education with the needs of labor market and the economy, improvement of students' language skills and adoption professional terminology in a foreign language, enabling international travel students from rural areas, the promotion of intercultural and European values.During the mobility students will improve professional knowledge and skills, increase language skills and develop European values. Students and teachers will motivate their fellow colleagues for lifelong learning in their home institutions. The goal of the consortium is to increase the number of participants in future years by working in an international environment. An important basis for achieving this goal is the internationalization of institutions, which the consortium of vocational school in Međimurje. By connecting on the regional level schools tend to increase the quality of vocational education throughout Međimurje County. Consequently, the main goal is for the students to become more competitive in the labor market and increase heir employability, as well as for Croatia to become recognizable on the European labor market.
