Erasmus + 2014-2020 program mostly concerns with youth unemployment, early school drop outs and increase the employment of younge people. With strongly established youth systems, it was aimed to provide active involvment of younge people to society, encourage them to democratic European life, and fulfil with the skills which labour work requires for today's World. Volunteering may increase rhe speed and character of development in a positive way. Although the increased number of NGOs and with this the number of volunteers have also increased in Turkey, it is still at very low levels considering other countries and this rate is almost zero for public institutions. The number of available young people and lack for volunteering for disabled people lead us to plan this Project. After EVS acreditation we have made a research and observed that there is a strong need for volunteering with disabled people and this Project was planned to open a gate for these activities. "First Step into EU" project has been prepared with "Focus - European Centre for Development " which has a direct or indirect effect on working life of participants and persons of Special Needs Education and with the qualification of the activities of the projects for volunteers , new knowledge and skills in the work for people with disabilities , to gain education and non-formal . This project is based on 10 volunteers ( 5 men and 5 women ) 5 of whom will be from disadvantaged persons, from 01.08.16 to 26.01.17 with 5 flows to Bulgaria to ensure the effectiveness of learning and having voluntarism work by two volunteers in each flow for 59 days , and participating in social life will gain the following qualifications :Opportunities for acquiring knowledge and competencies; • Building communication skills and work with people with disabilities; • Acquisition of language skills / written and spoken Bulgarian language • Direct work with people with disabilities over 18 years old in day care center for people with disabilities. • Skills in team work. • Gaining new creativity and methods of approaching when working with people with disabilities • Create new friends and acquaintances. • Will be familiar with the customs and culture. • Will know the natural attractions in Pazardzhik in Bulgaria. • Social and intercultural skills • Acquisition of responsibility towards the disadvantaged groups. • Better understanding of people with disabilities. • European identity. Duration of the project activities of the volunteer - 6 months 1 August and 26 September - 2 volunteers1 September and 27 October - 2 volunteers1 October and 26 November - 2 volunteers1 November and 27 December - 2 volunteers1 December and 26 January - 2 volunteersTotal - 6 months - 10 volunteers The activities are: Volunteers will participate in instructive activities, educational services. Their role would be consistent with the opportunities and responsibility. Mission volunteers will always be led by educator and rehabilitator. We will organize their time to visit the institutions, cafes, public spaces, galleries, theater, movies and more.They will support people with disabilities in their daily activities - nutrition, hygiene, dressing. Will participate in festivals and celebrations of the association and the day care center. Volunteers will organize activities during leisure customers - such as painting, music, hiking, and more. Finally, the volunteer will have the opportunity to develop a personal project related activities and objectives of the day care center and the host organization. Organizing volunteer missions will be based on 30 hours per week, 5 days, 6 hours per day including language courses. Two weekends a month. The working methods are: Games, observation, discussion, presentation, demonstration, practical Parties associated with the implementation of the project are: Turkey and Bulgaria The mandate was initialed mutually with our partner, priorities and responsibilities have been established weekly after determining the work plan , conditions of agreement and other partnerships have been established.Preparations were determined with every detail in the implementation and evaluation stages in the framework of the EVS activities.The introduction of voluntary sevices in order to ensure sustainability will be encouraged to prepare a visual presentation materials and program activities of the Directorate of Education at the local and national level in the meeting organized by our Directorate.These materials will be held regionally in organizations such providing to use in the festivities in the university which aims to reach the target audience.Project dissemination plan has been created, it has been determined for targets to achieve the ultimate benefit.
