PROJECT
FINISHED
Designed to explore the problems arising from misunderstandings about the nature of the European Union as a political model, and to help inject greater clarity and transparency into the debate about the possibilities and limitations of the EU. Includes a combination of classroom teaching, on-line teaching, inter-collegiate simulations, the preparation of new editions of two textbooks, the development of a new book on the dynamics of the public debate about the EU, teacher workshops, improved and more frequent use of social media, two field trips to Europe, and the building of a European Studies network among neighboring universities. As much as possible of the output from the project would be made available as open educational resources.
