Our project titled: “The books on the stage during the European school theatre festival” is the result of the Comenius Preparatory Visit. It will encourage children and teens from 3 European countries (Poland, Portugal, Italy) to read books. It promotes reading as an enjoyable way of spending free time and develops multicultural learning. Students will be between 11-16 years old. Project consists of tasks related with literature in national language as well as English language. English is the working language.Pupils from partner schools will read chosen novels written by national authors, information about their authors, contents, problems will be shared, and books from www.myebook.com will be published on the website.After online presentation they will write script for presenting their book in English in three next plays (acts). Each school is responsible for one-act play. A theatrical presentation will be the final product of the project and it will be performed in each school during partner visits. Folders and posters about their books will be prepared by pupils at the time of partner visit. All subsequent tasks will be published from project on common internet site. The project will increase our learning of foreign languages, make new friends, exchange international pedagogical methods and develop the personalities of all participants.
