The Bavarian State Vocational School goes international

According to parliamentary vote to 2020 up to 10% of all VET students participating in mobility activities for learners. In order to increase the number of mobilities of learners according to this benchmark and to make new contacts, and to organize and to perform these mobilities successfully, the teachers involved need in the first step advanced intercultural and language skills.
Many of these "voluntary" teachers have no Fakultas in English, but must communicate and present in English with partners via phone and e-mail. Also intercultural competence was never part of their teacher training.
Therefore four teachers from the State Vocational School Erding took part in the following training courses of a language school in Malta (eti Malta) and in the United Kingdom (York Associates):
- Professional Communication Skills (eti Malta)
- Teaching Intercultural Communication Skills (York Associates)
- Fluency & Language Development for Educational Staff (eti Malta)
