Mobility of learners in France (Bordeaux): In the context of the additional qualification of "European Hotelmanagement" 15 apprentices of the hotel and catering trade will spend three weeks in French hotels or restaurants in Bordeaux. The students will discover organisational structures, mentalities, training and working situations. The students will get the possibility to gain useful working experience and to get to know important aspects of the French cuisine and hospitality. The organization and on-site support is done by the agency Cap Ulysse. Mobility of learners in Italy (Bergamo): 8 apprentices for aircraft mechanics per year will spend two weeks at Ryanair at the airport of Bergamo. They will develop their expertise in terms of handling the English-language documents (e.g. SRM - Structural Repair Manual, IPC - Illustrated Parts Catalog, AMM - Aircraft Maintenance Manual). The participants will learn the handling of the MMEL (Master Minimum Equipment List ) , the Planning Job Card, the Aircraft Technical & Journey Log and the ATA Chapters (Air Transport Association). In addition to the technical vocabulary of English for the specific area of aviation ( "Simplified English" ) is deepened and the use of another foreign language (Italian). Incidentally, also the intercultural competencies can be improved during the placement in foreign country.
