Svetionik is the hosting organisation. The project is a Training Course (TC) “ACE TC”, it will be held in a Hotel "Adria" in Bar, Montenegro, and the facilities of Svetionik also in Bar. The TC will be for 7 working days, plus 1 arrival and 1 departure day. The partners are coming from Albania, Bosnia, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Serbia and Spain. There will be 24 participants plus the organising and trainer team.The theme of the TC is ‘Arts, Community, Environment’. The concept is to use the arts to explore environmental issues that young people can get involved in, in their communities and include other members of their communities. The overall Aim is “Exploring environmental issues through outdoor art projects”. The objectives are: Exploring how art can be used for creating a more inclusive society; Exploring cultural issues and values through environmental activities; Developing own environmental awareness; Find ways of engaging my own community in greater environmental awareness; Using the actual environment (urban or rural) for creating art and environmental actions in my community.The main activities in the project will be: team building; exploration of the environment in and around Bar; environmental awareness inputs and activities; Eko project visit, creating eko arts installations; YiA presentation; cultural visits… This will be done using a variety of methods; group work, interactive inputs, sharing of skills and experience, self-directed learning, discussion groups and community research. All will be done in the context of non-formal education.
