Our association was founded by Thalassemia patients and their relatives. As an organization, we give support and inform about the subjects that protecting the major health problems, the rights of patients with Thalassemia. Through EVS projects, we expect that young European volunteers taking part in our work in our association support our work and help our activities. The aim of our project is to ensure our young people with Thalassemia to be included in activities that can increase their morale and motivation, raise the living standards of young people with Thalassemia to success slat, raise the volunteering slats, promote cultural diversity and do activities that encourage cultural diversity. Also, in our association, volunteers are going to support activities such as the vocational courses made for young people with Thalassemia, the informative trainings held for projects carried out, the stand works, the blood donation campaign, the awareness meetings in schools and helping the volunteers in association about the works to be done. Two volunteers are going to come in 6-month period in our project. And also in our project, there will be a total of 4 volunteers. We expect the volunteers to be highly motivated. The result that we anticipate in our project is that EVS volunteers become acquainted with this chronic disease after working with Thalassemia patients.
