In order to be competitive, the EU must focus upon high added value products. This means to develop design, production and manufacturing processes that are at the lead of their respective sectors. The project aims to develop a tool kit for training of process industry simulation experts and a certification model, in order to improve the competence of the process industry. This will be done in different steps: analysing the skills, developing a methodological manual, preparing a report with the results, drafting of the standard curriculum, modelling of certification, creating of training modules for certain strategic skills and implementing the project website.
