The project aims at creating testing materials for English for specific Purposes followingthe Common European Framework.The main outputs of the project can be defined as follows:1. Definitions based on the Common European Framework as needed in therespective professions.2. Methods to create simple, (electronic) tools to filter authentic languagematerial for quickly defining language levels tested at the examination. Suchmaterials will be found in forums, blogs, recorded language material ofscientific conferences etc.3. Examination papers, pre-tested and tested twice to create models and meansfor future, internationally valid examinations.The former Leonardo project ESP:C (www.esp-c.org) will be the basis of the proposedwork, but to widen its scope Aristotle University will co-operate to create examinationmaterial for renovation chemists and Jagiellonian University for therapists.Guidelines for developing B2 and C1 ESP examinations will be provided and models willbe created how to test the linguistic competence. The creation of a short (web-based)course for new examiners is another target.
