Evaluation is traditionally part of teachers' work, but the methods as well as the actual target of the evaluation are changing with the time. Teachers face new demands: in particular, they should be able to identify prior learning and assess competencies of young and adult learners with different backgrounds. The project objective is to create a new training module for teacher training that emphasises the new kind of assessment skills needed in European countries facing immigration or emigration, or the new teaching methods developed in European countries in order to support economic development and to raise the attractiveness and flexibility of vocational education and training. Based on national analyses on evaluation practices and teacher's evaluation skills, the project will develop assessment tools, examples of good practice and a training module to give support to teachers' evaluation skills. Products will be available on a project webpage and on CD-Rom.
