Whereas the economic benefits from tourism are very limited, the partners shift into higher gear to make the cross-border area more attractive.The cities of Condé and Bernissart focus on the going back in time theme. Using interpretative panels and interactive equipment, they convert six sites, spread over cross-border area, into a place where visitors canmake an imaginary travel through time.To increase the tourism flows towards Condé and Bernissart, the partners secure resources to join Belgian and French attractions in a network. In doing so, they meet the needs from the tourist sector for a more professional tourist promotion and entertainment in the area.
