"Clean, Create, Act!" is a project that tells it all by its name:* Clean: Our project aims to raise awareness among youngsters to be environment-aware and environment friendly. For this, 20 recycling & art workshops will be organized. In these workshops, we will give information about the "ugly truth" of how weak we are in recycling and discuss the status in Turkey and the European Union with our Italian project partner.* Create: Our project also aims to inspire youngsters by teaching them basic artistic skills, where they will turn waste materials such as plastic bottles, cans, etc into art works. Hence, they will gain a new skill and discover their potential.* Act: Our project is just a start. So we want to stimulate youngsters to learn such opportunities as EU Youth in Action Programme in order to "do something" for themselves and the world. For this, we will have a workshop session where such opportunities will be introduced. Moreover, active partnership with the "Young Effect Association" will develop the intercultural experience and learning of participants, while motivating them to "act" together.Our project lasts 5 months (2 months preparation, 2 months implementation, 1 month sustainability & dissemination). This will include 20 free recycling & art workshops for youngsters, a 4-days-visit by our Italian partner and a closing ceremony with an exhibition. Besides, several visibility activities (brochures, posters, press news, project film, Facebook and Twitter page, website, etc.)will be carried out.In total, there will be 5 Turkish participants and 4 Italian participants. Moreover, we aim to reach 30 participants in our workshops.
