“Technology in Learning, a Chance for Being Better!” it’s a project of the Secondary School no.1 from Balteni village which will run from 15.12.2016-14.10.2017. The main objective of the project is: skills development in ICT for seven teachers in European context, until December 2017.The identified training provider is from an European state , from Malta, and the objectives of the course are related with those of the project : development of ICT skills, the speeding up of the instructive-educational process by utilizing new technologies in the current activity, the use of programs and web 2.0 instruments to motivate students to participate in the teaching-evaluation process. The target group will be made up of 7 teachers from all levels of teaching in schools, who will go together to the St. Julian’s training course, Malta at ETI- Executive Training Institute on 10.07.2017-21.07.2017.The course will be held for 10 days and contains activities dealing with the creation of ICT instruments, blogs, animation slides ,website ,avatar, editing and subtitling videos. Working with interactive board will be exercised and group projects will be realized. After the project is approved and the contract with the National Agency is signed, a constant email exchange of information will begin with the training provider to book places in the training course, according to talks held before the candidacy. Scheduled activities will begin , along with setting all the details concerning mobility: the duration, accommodation, getting there the content, evaluation and the instruments used, the linguistic and cultural background of the teachers from the target group, socializing, obtaining the course certificate. The development of linguistic skills will be realized by communicating with the training provider on the internet, and participating in English classes.Mobility will help teachers from the target group to understand the European values through direct cultural impact and to understand that they have double citizenship, national and European. The meetings with the teachers from other European countries will increase the interest of involving in another types of European partnership projects or on-line projects on e-learning platforms.The teachers from the target group will complete the Europass Mobility documents. Teachers will apply the course results starting with the next school year and they will train the students to participate at lessons. The students will achieve new ICT skills and will improve their results activities of learning, as the name of the project suggests. For the school’s management team the best benefit will be the foundation of the school’s website, a modern and absolutely necessary way of communication with all the parteners of the institution. The project will allow to demonstrate that the school with well trained teachers will successfully adapt to the needs of a modern European education.Therefore the local community will be more and more motivated to make serious investements in school’s endowment, actually in the children ‘s future.
