To the Trainings in Berlin (19.3.-25.3.2016) and Bucharest (5.9.-11.9.2016) we expect trainees from Germany, Romania, Netherlands, Serbia. Lithuania and Italy, who have experiences in working with youth and young adults. We will learn, try out, discuss and evaluate a large variety of pedagogical approaches to deal with the european east-west history up to the transformation processes of the period after.The participants will also get information about the workup of the GDR history of Germany and the communist time in Romania.In order to deal with the wide range of pedagogical approaches the trainings involve activities such as doing excursions to historical memorial places, talking with contemporary witnesses, doing biographical work and trying out creative and artistic methods, like streetart.All of the activities in the program have the common factor of applying the trainees actively within the context of intercultural learning. The trainings promote pedagogical approaches in dealing with cultures of remembrance related to the East-West-Conflict and it's consequenses in the present. The language of communication during the trainings will be in English.
