The mission of the project is, via the EU Constitutional Law studies, to foster the dialogue between the academic world, policymakers and civil society on the fundamentals of European integration. The aim is to equip the EHU students, studying the EU Law, with deepened knowledge of EU subjects relevant for their professional lives and enhance their civic skills.The objectives : - promote excellence in teaching and research in the sphere of the EU Law in general and the EU Constitutional Law in particular;- mainstream and diversify EU-related subjects throughout the curricula proposed by the Department of Law;- promote innovation in teaching and research in the sphere of the European transnational constitutionalism in the EU states and in the Eastern Partnership states.Tangible outputs: development of two new disciplines and improvement of two existing disciplines; publication of a scientific monograph, a student’s manual and a Methods Kit on the EU Constitutional Law; conducting of five workshops and a roundtable discussion on the aforementioned issues; two study visits; creation of an Open Eduactional Resource, of the EU Constitutional Law Library; building a permanent network of regional cooperation in the research of the EU Constitutional Law.Outcomes:- introduction of a new issue - studying of the EU Constitutional Law - in research sphere of EHU and other universities in the region;- getting a synergy of different approaches and different pedagogical and methodological paradigms in the development of the module "Constitutional Law of the EU";- facilitating the spread of knowledge about the European Constitutionalism and the EU in general in Eastern Partnership countries and Russia via excellent educational and research process.The project has a great impact in the Eastern European states for training of highly qualified personnel for the promotion, implementation processes of Europeanization and European integration.
