The programme "Teaching Literacy through visual narrative" will be held in UK (07-12-2014 - 13-12-2014) and it is addressed especially to teachers of adult education. Seven teachers, Director included, have been selected from our school unit "SDE Chanion" including the branches at the remoted villages Voukolies and Kasteli in order to attend this programme. Lectures, workshops, share of good practice, digital workshops on innovative and up-to-date software are all included in the programme to attend. The action aims at the enrichment of teachers' methodology, at the inter-cultural interaction of the teachers and the exchange of personal, educational experiences. The teachers are expected to transmit the knowledge acquired back to school in order to upgrade the learning outcome and the school unit itself and innovations in the process of adult learning and further development of innovative techniques using ICT, as to the possible provision of quality public and adult education.
