Teachers in action for Adults - learn How to teach ICT & Entrepreneurship

The European Development Plan of Consortium aims to promote of human capabilities, in particular the capabilities of the most disadvantaged social groups, through the organisation of workshops, counselling and courses. The Consortium desires to improve adult education; promote digital skills; affirm to pivotal importance of civil society and active citizenship; create room for the sharing of cultural and social differences through European citizens of different Countries and people of the rest of the world. As part of the actions realised in the achieving of these “functional aims”, The consortium organises the Training Course “Teachers in action for Adults - learn How to teach ICT & Entrepreneurship” to improve key competences as skills like the use in training and education of adults people of ICT, and especially the Moodle platform, and how to promote and improve the entrepreneurship attitudes of adults. The Training Course is addressed to those staff and teachers who already work with adults in both, formal education (hight school and adult organization) and other forms of training (job trainers, youth counsellors, coaches, other educators and instructors) . Together with other important general skills and knowledges, the Training Course will focus especially on the following topics:(a) Moodle system: Moodle is a free, online Learning Management system enabling educators to create their own private website filled with dynamic courses that extend learning, anytime, anywhere. Whether you're a teacher, student or administrator, Moodle can meet your needs. The course will give to the participants a solid preparation in the use of the platform and all its features, in order to enhance their teaching and add more interactivity to their classes;(b) Social Enterprise attitude: the Training Course will raise awareness of the issues; attendants will explore the options open to them, will gain an understanding of how a successful social enterprise looks like, will look at the common mistakes and how to avoid them in the start up of a social enterprise. Main topics: 1. Entrepreneurship: basics of entrepreneurship with specific focus on social entrepreneurship; material, content and methodology 2. Eu policies and programmes for adult education and mobility; networking in a EU environment 3. Innovative and interactive teaching methods for adult learners: an overview of best practices resulting from EU projects; hands on workshop. The Course aim too to give a practical help in the planning of first steps of attendants who desire to start a social enterprise or improve the social responsibility of their corporations. The Project will involve in total 52 participants from Italy. It will be repeated twice and will be held in London by Kairos Europe and Brusselles by IHF asbl in the following dates:13th-17th February, 2017 (London - moodle Course); 13th-17th February, 2017 (Brusselles - Capacity Building);11th-15th , May 2017 (London - moodle course);11th-15th May 2017 (Brusselles - Capacity Building);
