This course drew our attention as we included in our School plan /2013-2014/ European dimension of our teaching practice, namely European Dimension Plan, giving an accent to modern education in our teaching practice in the framework of compulsory training- strengthening the language learning and use of digital technologies in teaching of all subjects. Our long term ambitious intentions are to prepare our students in the way they can learn life and key skills, enabling them to realise themselves on the labor market in Bulgaria and Europe- qualifications, mobility and intercultural communication. We looked through the offered in Bulgaria courses and abroad, and we have chosen the Empowerment in ICT skills -Making Use of Technology Tools, offered by ETI-Malta. This course meets exactly our needs. Next we are going to learn website design and the organisation of Wiki space in order to modernise our Primary School and to promote our activities and good practices in Bulgaria and other European countries/colleagues – it would be the face of our school before the world. These goals and expectations reflected in the selection of participants for the course, coordinated with the Project organising Commission – 3 people / English teacher , Pedagogical counselor and Headmaster / - their profile best fits the requirements for the course. They will be fully engaged with the objectives of the plan and its implementation, training other staff and promote learning of new skills. Expected result is the knowledge and skills to be combined with our own methodological approaches , so our students to be able to transfer their knowledge and key skills to other areas, using modern technologies which will give them strong motivation, meaning success. In a broader future aspect we are going to provide continuous improvement of using digital technology in class, teaching and independent learning as a permanent measure in our School, modernisation and European added value.
