The Training Course with partnership making elements "EVS-Every Volunteer Secure" will take place in Georgia in October 2015 and will gather 28 participants from 10 Programme and Partner countries and from 14 different organizations. The project will consist of 6 days in the Scout Centre in Rustavi. Countries Involved: Czech Republic ,Slovakia, Latvia, Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, Macedonia,Portugal, Italy and Greece.
The main idea of the training course will be to gather newly accredited and Experienced EVS receiving organizations from Program and EECA countries. Less experienced organizations will have a chance to learn from more experienced ones and all organizations will benefit form sharing experience, learning new methods and supporting wider network of reliable organizations for their EVS volunteers
Objectives of the project:
-to increase capacity and experience of newly accredited EVS receiving organization
-to share good practice and experience between the partner organizations.
-to raise awareness of the value and importance of volunteering;
-to establish EVS partnership between organizations from program and partner countries(EECA Region).
The programme of the training course is based on the non-formal education methods and has a good mixture of various activities which encourage active paticipation and creativity of those who take part in the project. Getting to know each other games, ice-breakers, team-building games, group work, various workshops, forum theatre, study visit, intercultural evening, NGO Fair, a complex of interesting informal activities and more creative excersices are included into the programme of the training course.
All of the above will increase the awareness of the participants about the importance of quality in volunteer management and their interest in new projects. The knowledge gained about volunteering and its promotion will be transferred to the partner oganizations, contributing to their sustainable development. More people will gain the information about the possibilities of active participation as well.
