The „Taste of life” project is a multilateral Youth Exchange project within the Erasmus+ framework which will take place in Pomponesco, Italy. The project aims to bring forward innovation in the personal development of young people, helping them acquire needed life skills as an European citizen with rights and responsibilities. Based on the themes of European Awareness and Art &Culture, the project revolves around three major objectives:
- to raise awareness of young people as active European citizens involved in the community life and democratic life of their countries and Europe in general
- to cultivate life skills and positive attitudes through cultural dialogue
- to encourage employability and creativity and entrepreneurship initiatives amongst young people
Thus, in the 7 days of Activity, 30 participants, aged 18 - 25, from 6 countries (IT, GR, SE, ES, PL, RO) will explore various concepts (European citizenship, Creativity & Entrepreneurship, Culture) and develop themselves throughout the Activity, exchanging ideas and finding common grounds of cooperation.
During the activity ,there are to be used a wide range of non formal education tools and methods (simulation, debate, teambuilding, role-play, creation) at their best in order to guide young people to get to know their Europe.
During the activity international groups will take part in various types of workshops concerning European citizenship-rights, benefits and responsibilities, cultural expressions of various countries (gastronomy – actual cooking of a national recipe and specific dances), workshops on creativity and entrepreneurship and/or employability skills, including visiting various types of local businesses.
