In the „Tartangarde“ project the following partners were involved - Modeschulen Nürnberg, Germany - VOSON a SPSO, Prague, Czech Republic - North West Regional College, London/Derry, Northern Ireland - Glasgow Kelvin College, Scotland in cooperation with the clothing manufacturer Glenisla Kilts (John Culbert). The purpose of the project was to provide the students during their advanced vocational training with the skills necessary to work at international production sites within the garment industry in their later careers. Brief for the students of the technical college for garment industry: create comfortable, fashionable and at the same time traditional Scottish kilts with accessories for either ladies´ and men´s outerwear as well as kids´wear. Aims of project “Tartangade”: - cooperative work in international teams - discovery of cultural heritage of the foreign country - learning of skills of the specific partner college - Design with these skills garments on the background of Franconian culture - Marketing of the products - Documentation of the Operation Breakdown for traditional Scottish evening wear in English - 2016 and 2017: Choreography and moderation of fashion shows in international teams at traditional Scottish festivities e.g. Burns Supper or Ceilidh - Provide a questionnaire for the analysis of the target group
