Tallinn Kuristiku Gymnasium staff mobility project 2016 is to apply the renewed approach to teaching (“Tallinna Kuristiku Gümnaasiumi töötajate õpiränne muutunud õpikäsituse paremaks rakendamiseks”). Nine teachers attend the in-service courses in Europe.The main aims for the mobility project are: * To turn school through mobility participants more open, innovative, and international as well as being capable of development. * To support participants´ mastering competences by encouraging their development, lifelong learning and competitiveness in Europe. * To increase participants´ teaching qualities, language skills and international communication experience. * To increase active-, project-, and integrated curriculum studies * To integrate the international experience into the school life.All the participants in mobility are Tallinn Kuristiku Gymnasium´s experienced specialists. Their language levels are B1, B2 or A1, ICT- equipment is used daily and everybody is team-oriented. Two teachers of English attend the English methodology courses in Great Britain – “Creative activities and motivating materials for the secondary classroom. Focus on Ireland” and “Language & Methodology for Teachers of English”;A music teacher attends the active and project based studies “Innovative Approaches to Teaching” in Spain;A history teacher takes part in the problem based studies in Great Britain - “Problem based learning / Inquiry based learning”;A social pedagogue and youth worker takes the course called “Course 21 – Diverse Society – Diverse Classroom Student’s diversity benefitting social diversity, Special focus on key competences and cooperative learning in multicultural/diverse groups” in Iceland;A physical education teacher attends “The 11th International Seminar for physical education teachers” in Finland; Two class teachers participate in the courses of active methods and of renewed approach to teaching and future education - “Learning Different Subjects Outdoors” in Czech Republic and “Teaching Tomorrow” in Malta;A teacher of Estonian language and literature takes part in the programme combined with pedagogic visits to schools/institutes and structured training activities in Finland – “Structured Study Visit to Schools/Institutes & Training Seminar”.Mobility is in co-operation with employees and school´s management, according to employees’ needs and school´s blueprint. Kuristiku Gymnasium´s mobility team has worked out the action plan which is being followed.Mobility staff is motivated and show initiative in planning and carrying out mobility activities. School´s management supports participants thoroughly. As a project outcome the applicants share their experiences with colleagues at inner trainings, at subject section meetings, at methodology council. They publish publications, studying materials, advertise and share them at our school´s ICT technologist blog, PE teachers blog and mobility blog, also at Koolielu portal and our school´s newspaper. They apply acquired methods, demonstrate them at open classroom lessons to colleagues and parents.
