(Re)integration of persons with disabilities (PWDs) into the labour market (LM) is subject to special attention in all European countries. However, the existing measures have not always been effective and, PWDs do not always maintain long-term jobs. Increasing their employment rate and maintaining long-term employment require to development advisory and educational services, application of different forms of support programmes, awareness-raising campaigns on the situation of PWDs in society as a whole, as well as the sensitizing of the public and increasing the empathy of employers.In the framework of this project, we plan to carry out in-depth interviews with persons with disabilities successful at the LM, round table discussions with the labour market actors, conduct questionnaire-based surveys among employers and, building upon international recommendations and identified success factors of the integration of PWDs, we want to contribute to their reintegration into the labour market. Recognising good experiences and approaches from abroad in the area of successful reintegration of the target group generates an added value and the synergic effect leading to innovative ideas, which will be applied by the professional team in the process of creating innovative education for the direct target group and an innovative service package for the employers.The main goals of the projects are:- Developing and strengthening the international networks of organisations operating in the field of supporting the reintegration of people with disabilities, sharing examples of good practices between organisations;- Promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities (job seekers and the inactive ones) on the labour market and their employability through innovative education focusing on success factors, in particular in the areas of competence required at the LM;- Awareness-raising, sensitization of employers by providing innovative service packages to increase their empathy concerning the employment of PWDs;- Supporting the cooperation between labour market actors from various sectors (national, public, profit, non-profit) at the local, regional and national level in the partner countries.The specific goals of the project are:- Exchanging of experience in the field of cooperation with the target groups and implementation of successful projects, procedures and methods aimed at educating and integrating PWDs to the labour market, summarising experience;- Developing professional competencies of the personnel of partner organisations;- Organizing a roundtable discussion participated in by the labour market actors, and the subsequent elaboration of conclusions and international recommendations with regard to the successful employment of PWDs from the perspective of labour market actors;- Implementation of a questionnaire based survey for employers at the regional level, and the subsequent analysis and evaluation of the factors of successful employment of PWDs at the international level,- Implementation of structured in-depth interviews with persons with disabilities who have successfully integrated into the labour market (as employees or entrepreneurs), identifying the factors of their success;- Joint development and testing of innovative education for PWDs (job seekers and inactive ones), based upon the identified factors of successful reintegration into the labour market on the basis of international experience, with a special focus on the development of competencies and improving the employability of persons with disabilities;- Joint development and presentation of the innovative service package for employers including training and workshop elements applicable in the partner countries; - Developing a comprehensive vision and recommendations (from the viewpoint of PWDs as well as that of labour market actors) concerning the successful employment of PWDs;- Developing information materials (flyer, electronic collection, brochure) and the web page;- Supporting non-formal education of PWDs.The target groups of the project: A. Direct target groups:1. persons with disabilities (job seekers and inactive ones)2. employers. B. Indirect target groups:1. employed PWD,2. partner institutions,3. educational institutions,4. organisations providing advisory services for people with disabilities, 5. supported employment agencies,6. local self-governments, 7. sheltered workshops and workplaces,8. labour offices, 9. non-governmental organisations,10. interest organisations of PWD.Developing the knowledge and experience of the professional team, innovative education and the service package for employers to increase their empathy will create favourable conditions for the reintegration of PWDs, by which we will contribute to the fulfilment of one of the objectives of the EU 2020 strategy – achieving 75% employment of the labour force (aged 20-64 years) and create a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
