Summary of the project „Taining and preparedness of the Baltic Sea region (LTU, LVA, EST, POL) police officers in usage of a single model of application of physical force”.The main aim of this Project is to create modern, unified, proportionate model for applying physical strength and special fighting techniques in the framework of strategic partnership among Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian and Polish police officers’ and police cadets training institutions.Coordinator: Latvian State Police CollegeExpected partners: Lithuanian Police School, The Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and Poland Police School in Katowice.Duration of the Project is 24 months. Start – 1st September 2016.Participants: 16 training experts (LV:4, LT:4, EE:4 and PL:4) and 24 police cadets (6 cadets from each country).Budget of the Project: approx. 187 000 EUR, (100 % funded by ERASMUS+ program).Main results of the Project:- Joint Professional special fighting techniques and physical use of force training program and material for the cadets will be developed and tested;- training of 16 experts (4 from each country) best practices in the area of applying physical strength and special fighting techniques;- organizing practical and theoretical trainings for the 16 experts and 24 cadets (6 from each country) - Developing methodical recommendations for the lecturers on the training of cadets in the field of physical force and special fighting techniques, preparing them for typography publishing and publishing them online;- One conference to present the results will be organized.Project Team will consist of 24 persons: • 4 coordinators of Project activities (1 in each partner country);• 4 coordinators of Programs (1 in each partner country);• 16 training experts (4 in each partner country).
