All project activities are focussed on the increase of the quality of the organistion itself, the internationalisation of the organisation, the improvement of the curriculum, the improvement of the actual lessons, the prevention of drop out of our gifted students, the optimalisation of ict technology and ict skills, the internationalisation and professionalisation of our staff. 54 staff members will be educated abroad in clil courses, language acquisition courses, subject content courses, Ipad courses and international management training. The bilingual management lacks international management capacities, They will attend an international management course.BBilingual teachers, teachers who teach their subject in English need intensive language training to maintain and improve their skills. When teachers show lacks in their language skills, or ask for support will attend a language course.Content Language and integrated learning is the key didactic at our school. Intensive training is needed. Part of the staff has already done a course 4 years ago, but the development of CLIL in the teams didn't go as planned. CLIL will be strengthend by an advanced clil course for bilingual teachers.Languages are taught in the language itself. Teachers need support to be able to improve their lessons and their own language skills. We teach IB English, and lost our experienced staff last year. The present teachers need support and knowledge wich will be given by offering them an IB teaching course.The implementation of the Ipad in the bilingual department needs support in working with CLIL and Ipads.to avoid the lack of communication which occurs if students work individually with the Ipad. In the UK is more knowledge. We sent 15 teachers to the course who will share their knowledge with the other teachers.The department principals will evaluate the activities through several competention sessions, to ensure the newly developed competentions will be maintained and registered. they also take reponsibility for the development end maintenance of the curriculum.In this way we will step up in quality. However this project is an ongoing one. Each and every year these activities will be repeated ens improved to ensure the quality of our education.
